That wonderful climate can give you 2 gardens per year, spring and fall. That’s if you want that much work.
Strangely enough our water bill here in or. costs nuch nore than Las Vegas, set right in A DESERT. Go fiqure? It’s a mystery to me.

I was playing with one of my painted fabrics on Spoonflower a few weeks ago. You can upload the image of your fabric and actually see what it would look like if you select block printing, mirror image, etc. Then Barbara Schneider brought several pieces she had printed through Spoonflower to the NSNG meeting – very beautiful, good quality, true to color. I’m about to make some use of that site!

I know I promised not to do this till much later, and I am excited for you with your new adventure, and you will most likely LOVE it there, and we can still email, facebook, skype, etc… but I can’t help feeling this sadness. I will miss you SO much.

We lived in San Jose and Los Gatos for almost 20 years. I loved the climate and the geography – close to the ocean and mountains. It is a wonderful place. I hope you enjoy it and find the many kindred spirits who live there.
